What’s new in Sapaad: July 2022 round up

Sapaad has been hard at work improving and perfecting its products so that you and your customers have a better, more seamless experience.

Here’s a quick roundup of our June-July 2022 updates:

Sapaad Kiosk, now available in Arabic 

We’ve introduced Arabic as the latest language option for Sapaad Kiosk on Android. Now you can allow your customers to place orders on the Kiosk in the language of their choice. 

New Menu Sequencing feature helps customers spot their favorites 

Use our new menu sequencing feature to speed up contactless orders and increase menu item visibility on all your digital ordering platforms. 

Sort and rearrange menu items on your Sapaad POS with our smooth drag-and-drop function – and save your customers precious time by placing popular menu items and promotional offers at the top.

Managing a menu on multiple online ordering platforms? Sync your updated menu instantly across all your digital channels, including all third party partner stores linked via Sapaad POS. 

Sapaad’s menu sequencing feature is coming to several products within the Sapaad POS ecosystem: Sapaad Online, Sapaad Direct, and Sapaad Kiosk.

Recommend Menu Items on Zomato

You can now use Sapaad’s new “Recommended” feature in your Zomato store to highlight new products, special seasonal items, or promotional deals!

Simply visit Sapaad’s Zomato Connect page and click the checkbox next to any item you want to recommend. Every item you check will appear as Recommended.

Email OTP offers an alternative login option for QR code and online ordering 

Are your customers having trouble getting their one-time password (OTP) via SMS when ordering via QR code or visiting your online store? We’ve got an alternative: Email OTP. They just have to input their email address, wait for the email, type in the one-time password, and they’re all set!

The Email OTP option is enabled for Sapaad Direct, our QR code ordering system, and Sapaad.Online, your online ordering storefront. 

Give your customers a smooth front-end experience with this secure login feature, which becomes available 60 seconds after requesting SMS OTP verification.

Optimized inventory reordering and restocking via supplier 

To facilitate speedier purchase ordering, we recently implemented a new inventory management feature that displays ingredients by supplier as they are listed in your account.

You can conveniently raise purchase orders straight with your supplier when items they carry fall below critical levels. You can also implement Just In Time (JIT) inventory methods more efficiently with this enhancement.

Enhanced Invoice Download, Emailing, and Printing 

We value your time and convenience, which is why we’re making it easier for you to download, email, or print invoices in PDF format from your past order records. Simply access your invoice records by visiting My Accounts Page. 

Other Performance Enhancements and Fixes

For Sapaad POS

• Are you on a Sapaad Direct Pro account and want to revert back to a Sapaad Direct Lite account? Visit your account settings to generate a QR code and make the switch. 
• New alert notifications have been added in case of an error when your customers are using the Split Bill function.

For Sapaad Android Kiosk

• We’ve fixed an issue that would cause the device keyboard to appear when adding a modifier or grouped item to cart.
  

For Delivery Manager Management System (DMMS)

• If you’re a UAE or Oman-based customer, you can now sync your Sapaad DMMS with your logistics partners’ dashboards. If your partner cancels a request, the alert will immediately be reflected on your Sapaad DMMS.

• We’ve added a new payment breakdown in our Delivery Manager. This is meant to help you see how much was paid in cash, with loyalty points, or via other payment modes.
