Sapaad Partners with UAERG to Launch Coffee Club Meetup for F&B Leaders

With everything moving across the globe — impacting restaurants, suppliers, and the wider industry — sitting down with people who are seeing the same things happen can shift the conversation in ways you don’t expect.
Sometimes, that’s exactly what you need to spot the silver lining.
That was how the Coffee Club Meetup came to life.
It was a collaboration between Sapaad and the UAE Restaurants Group (UARG) — a simple, casual gathering that brought together thought leaders from across the F&B and HOREKA industry to talk honestly about what’s happening, and more importantly, how technology and community can help navigate it.

AI has made a pivotal shift in the way we interact with the world. It has made it easier for information to be accessed, for conclusions to be reached, and for data to be consolidated in ways that help people make decisions that are faster, safer, and more profitable.
For restaurateurs operating in an ever-changing landscape, that’s a safety net.
For the UAE Restaurants Group, the goal was simpler but just as important: to get everyone around the same table. To open up the floor to what restaurants are actually feeling, to hear from members of the community on how they can support each other — whether that’s through supplier contacts, shared learnings, or just knowing you’re not alone.
Representatives from the Dubai Economic Department were also present, sharing how the government is stepping in, from advising on the current situation to taking action against suppliers who have been dramatically increasing their pricing.

It was meant to be a simple gathering to foster a sense of community and camaraderie, making sure every side of the F&B industry felt heard and helped.
Throughout the morning, conversations ranged across the realities different businesses are facing right now and the ways they’re tackling and working around them — giving every person in the room a window into approaches they might not have considered yet. It was the perfect space to open the floor on how we can use tech as an enabler: making smarter decisions in an ever-shifting world, and building the kind of resilience the industry needs right now.
The mix in the room reflected exactly that: a true cross-section of the F&B and HOREKA world, all in one place.
