THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for an experienced Content Team Lead to own Sapaad’s content function — from strategy and execution to team leadership. You’ll define how we tell our story, shape the voice of our brand, and ensure every piece of content we put out — whether a blog post, product video, or help guide — is clear, compelling, and consistent.
This is a senior role for someone who is fundamentally a strong writer and editor, and has grown into leading and inspiring others to do the same. You’ll work closely with our marketing, product, and development teams, while owning the content calendar, managing a team of content creators, and setting the standard for quality across all channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the content strategy across all channels — website, blog, email, social, and product materials — ensuring a consistent brand voice and alignment with business objectives.
- Write and edit high-quality copy for email campaigns, landing pages, ads, and marketing materials that engage the right audience and drive action.
- Develop scripts for product videos, walkthroughs, tutorials, and customer testimonials.
- Build and maintain a library of technical resources — e-books, FAQs, guides, and training materials — that help users get the most out of Sapaad.
- Manage a content calendar that keeps the team on track and ensures timely, high-quality delivery across all initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of content creators; distribute workload effectively, provide clear feedback, and maintain high standards across all output.
- Define content-specific KPIs — such as publish frequency, SEO performance, and content engagement — and use data to continuously improve.
- Work closely with the product and development teams to translate feature updates and product news into clear, compelling content.
- Oversee Sapaad’s online presence — website, blog, vendor portals, and community forums — ensuring all content is accurate, optimized, and on-brand.
- Develop training initiatives to upskill the content team and keep pace with industry best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years in content creation, copywriting, or content marketing, with at least 2 years leading or managing a team of writers or creatives.
- A strong, versatile writing portfolio spanning marketing copy, long-form content, video scripts, and technical or product writing.
- Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals and deliver measurable results.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Experience in a SaaS or B2B technology environment; familiarity with the restaurant or hospitality sector is a plus.
- Comfortable collaborating with product, design, and development teams, and working alongside a separate demand generation and performance marketing function.
- Proficient with CMS platforms and project management tools such as Notion, Asana, or Trello.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A genuinely high standard for writing — sharp on tone, clarity, grammar, and consistency.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
